 Ohio County Hospital provides a unit of transitional care for patients who, after acute illnesses, require additional care beyond an inpatient status. Patients may require additional care, in the form of rehabilitative services like physical or occupational therapy, to help strengthen the patient so that they are able to return home. The Hospital has 10 beds in the Swing Bed Unit.
