Radiology Services 
 The Radiology services available at Ohio County Hospital offer some of the highest degree of technology available anywhere in the area. Our new computed tomography (CT or CAT SCAN) system has enabled patients to receive quicker images — thus faster treatment and less time on the table. For physicians, the new system provides quality data and superb images, which are generated within seconds for fast results that permit quick, confident diagnoses.
The CT scanner uses less radiation, so it is safer for your whole family — especially children. Another important aspect is the ability to perform many more types of exams. This capability enables our physicians to receive the information quickly and provide an accurate diagnosis for the proper treatment.
Mammography is provided by registered Mammography Technologists. Every technologist meets the requirements set by the Mammography Quality Standards Act. Mammograms are performed Monday through Friday, with evening and Saturday appointments available. Our facility is accredited with the American College of Radiology and Certified by the FDA. All radiologists are ABR certified and accredited with the American College of Radiology.
