Laboratory Services 
OCH's Clinical Laboratory is fully accredited through the Joint Commission and Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), our lab services are available for the Emergency Department, Outpatient Services. Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A variety of Lab Service is also available on a STAT basis, if your physician needs results immediately.
Patients may bring physician orders for lab service to the hospital to obtain lab testing. To receive lab services, a patient must have a signed order by the physician that includes the tests to be preformed and a diagnosis or reason why testing is ordered. The lab staff will FAX or mail results to a patient’s physician, or patients may obtain their own personal copy of the results by visiting our Health Information Management Department and signing a release for information.
Our lab offers a wide range of tests on-site, and for tests not performed directly in our laboratory, we have a courier service that picks up lab specimens and delivers to our reference labs.
We also provide lab services for the community and industries in our area. For example, pre-employment drug testing and health screening tests for preventive purposes at health fairs are also available throughout the year.
