Ohio County Hospital offers a full range of radiology services including computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), mammography, bone densitometry, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, and general radiology.
Our CT scan offers Multislice Technology (MDCT) which is one of the latest developments in CT technology. This technology greatly improves the amount of diagnostic information acquired in a much shorter time frame.
Ohio County Hospital Radiology has received the gold standard in imaging accreditation by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The accreditations were obtained in 4 different imaging modalities within the last 3 years, MRI, CT, and in this year alone, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound. Mammography has been ACR accredited for over 15 years.
The American College of Radiology (ACR) is a peer-reviewed, educationally focused evaluation process to help you assure your patients of the highest level of image quality and safety. Accreditation is not only the right thing to do; it also helps our facility meet regulatory and third-party payer criteria.
